Klinten is our most recently built cabin and offers views in two directions. Catch a glimpse of the beautiful Sandvik Church in one direction, or watch the sun rise over the bay in the other. Inside the cabin, you’ll find two bedrooms and a loft, as well as a spacious living room and kitchen. For rainy days, there’s a Smart TV on site, and the picture here (or above if you’re on your mobile) shows your private mooring and cove.

Common questions

Can we buy a fishing permit from you?

Yes, we sell fishing permits, and one is required to fish in Lake Fegen.

Are pets welcome?

Yes, all pets are welcome.

Is cleaning included?

Final cleaning costs 800 SEK.

Is a boat included?

Yes, a rowing boat is included.

Do the boats have motors?

No, but an electric outboard can be hired. The price depends on how many days you want it — you will see the cost when you pick your dates under Enquiry.

Is there a barbecue and charcoal?

Every cabin has a barbecue. Bring charcoal or buy it in the farm shop. There is also a shared fire pit by the playground.

What is there for children?

There is a playground with swings, a slide and a football goal, plus a large forest and a large lake to explore.

What fish are in Lake Fegen?

Many species. The most popular are pike-perch, pike and perch.

When and how do we get the key?

The key is in the door when you arrive. Check-in opens at 15:00, and it is fine to arrive later — the key stays put.

How far is the nearest grocery shop?

About ten minutes by car, to Handlarn in Kalv.

Where do we park?

Beside the cabin. You can unload right at the door.

Are there walking trails?

Yes, Joarsbo is made for walking. Take a turn along Skogsvägen, around the pond, or the longer trail that follows the lake to the café at Backa Loge.

Can we charge our electric car?

Yes, we have one post for charging that the cabins share.

Towels and linens?

You bring your own or rent it for 200 SEK/person.

Is there a ramp for a bigger boat?

Yes, indeed, in one of our many bays we have a ramp.

Wifi?

Yes, in all of the cabins.

Are you open all year round?

Indeed, our cabins are available at any time.

What are the cancellation terms?

More than 2 months before arrival: no charge
Less than 2 months before arrival: 50% of the rent
Less than 1 week before arrival: 100% of the rent

When do we check in and check out?

Check-in from 15:00. Check-out by 11:00
